There are 17 stories in the collection. As the stories progress they become lengthier and more in-depth. Individual the stories are a light read but they all theme around the topic of life and love which are designed to raise subliminal questions in the reader’s mind.
The last chapter is the longest with 15 pages and begins with four characters sit around a table, Mel, Terri, Nick, and Laura. They are all drinking and discussing love in the kitchen. They discuss past relationships and views on the subject ranging from abusive relationships to physical love to spiritual love (not necessarily in that order). As the evening transgresses we get deeper into some interesting ex and other witnessed stories.
